Heavyweight Kickboxing's Hardest Hitters

1-Jerome
LeBanner- JLB would easily make any Top 3 ranking in this
category. The list is long of his one hit 2-Branko
Cikatic- Branko has the record for 3-Ray Sefo- For a guy nicknamed Sugarfoot, his hands are pretty terrifying in the sport. Sefo is a very good gatekeeper for the K-1. Any new talent thinking of breaking into the K-1 has to worry about simply making it to the end of a bout against Ray. The K-1 has even openly shown dismay at Sefo for ending fights too quickly. 4-Mark Hunt- Never a dull moment in a Mark Hunt fight. Not only can the man soak up damage like a champ, he can also dish it out. One good example of a typical Mark Hunt fight is the 2002 fight against Stefan Leko. Leko was ahead on points and in the final round Mark made him do the puppet dance. A power puncher like Mark can (and did) have a few sub par rounds and came out on top thanks to a few high impact seconds. 5-Francisco Filho- After slapping the K-1 Grand Prix champion unconscious in his first pro fight, Filho went on to secure all his first 7 wins by KO. Filho commanded enormous respect for his power. 6-Frans Botha- Despite the list of losses, Botha got a lot of respect in the ring for his ability to hit hard. His opponents either ran or blocked. No one wanted to trade hit for hit. 7-Mike Bernardo- Often considered a lesser boxer in the kickboxing ring, Bernardo did what better boxers couldnft do, KO top ranked kickboxers. 8-Bob Sapp- Without even a thimble of technique, Sapp managed to become on of the hardest hitters in the K-1. My theory is that his swatting style of punching was so alien to fighters that they couldnft defend properly, and his size made up for the unconventional swing. 9-Peter Aerts- One measure of a power puncher is the man who drops his opponents with punchers to the body. LeBanner, Greco and Bernardo can all give testimony to Peterfs body blows. 10-Mirko
Filipovic- Most will agree that Filipovic scored most of
